05.4.5 Applying for Candidacy

The College’s first contact with a potential MTh candidate is usually through a senior member of Faculty or the Registrar. The first contact refers the applicant to the Registrar.

The Registrar ascertains the academic eligibility of an applicant for candidacy. For this purpose those who are not Moore College graduates are required to provide a certified copy of a full academic transcript.

The Registrar provides eligible applicants with an application form and may direct the applicant to a relevant Faculty member for advice in framing a proposed program of study. The applicant submits an outline of the proposed study program to the Registrar in writing (accompanied by an electronic copy).

An interview with the Director of Research will then be arranged. See 05.4.4 Admission Requirements 5.4.4.9 above.
