05.5.1 Introduction

The program aims to equip qualified persons for a vocation of teaching and research in theological colleges and universities and for the scholarly enhancement of Christian ministry.  The PhD requires completion of a piece of research that demonstrates a significant and original contribution to theological knowledge and understanding at the highest academic level and capacity to conduct research independently at a high level of originality and quality.
