05.4.7 Requirements for Graduation

The degree will be awarded by the Governing Board of the College only in cases where all Research Units have been passed and the two external examiners of the thesis recommend the award of the degree.

The degree will be awarded with merit by the Governing Board of the College only in cases where all Research Units have been passed and the two external examiners of the thesis recommend the award of the degree with merit.

Where the two examiners recommend that the degree not be awarded, but the candidate has passed all Research Units, the Academic Board may recommend to the Governing Board of the College that the candidate be offered advanced standing (at an appropriate level) in the Master of Arts in Theology.
