Registration Instructions

What’s in this document?

This document will explain what you need to do to register for your course. It will explain each of the steps to complete in the online registration process. At the end of the document there are course and unit descriptions.

 

What does registration involve?

Registration includes:

  1. Confirming your enrolment details

  2. Choosing your units of study

  3. Indicating how you intend to pay

 

Before you start

You will need your:

  • Student ID and Password

  • USI Unique Student Identifier https://www.usi.gov.au/ (Australian domestic students only. If you don’t have a USI, note that creating a USI should take less than 5 minutes.)

How long will it take?

It should take you no longer than 30 minutes to complete online registration.

What if I make a mistake or want to change my choices?

If you make a mistake, just start again – this will override all previous information.

To Register

Go to the Welcome page https://registration.moore.edu.au/

 

When you are ready, click “Start” and log in with your Student ID and password

User Name = (Student ID)

Password = (Your password)

 

Family and Country

 

Update your family situation. Fields that have outlines (as seen with marital Status, Spouse Name and Spouse Email above) can be edited. Details like those in the Origin and Language section can be changed by notifying the Registrar’s Department (registrardept@moore.edu.au).

When you have checked and entered as necessary, click Next to continue.

Course and History

Please check your course details listed on this page.

If there are errors or details that need to be changed, please contact RegistrarDept@moore.edu.au

 

 

USI (Unique Student Identifier)
This is a new identification mandated by the Federal Government to identify students for tracking purposes such as participation in tertiary education and FEE-HELP loans. From 2023, students will not be able to graduate without a USI (apart from overseas students studying offshore). Please provide your USI and note that the first name, last name, and date of birth recorded with your USI must be identical to the details held by the College. To change these details with the College please contact registrardept@moore.edu.au. You can change your details with the USI at: Update your details | Unique Student Identifier (http://usi.gov.au ).
Australian students studying offshore need a USI.
Overseas students studying offshore do not need a USI.

Units of Study

Select your units of study and indicate your tuition fee payment option. Please see the last section of this page for an explanation of the units and their codes.

Choose your units for by clicking the Enrol button for each unit you want to study.

 

Changing Units of Study

Until registration closes you can change your units using the registration form. After that date all unit changes must be made via a written request to the Registrars (registrardept@moore.edu.au). Note that to withdraw from a unit without paying the tuition fee and without academic penalty a request to withdraw from the unit must be made in writing and received before the census date. See the Fees section of the website for units and census dates.

 

 

Tuition Fee Payment

Eligible for FEE-HELP (e.g. domestic students)

If you are eligible for FEE-HELP you have the choice to defer payment through a FEE-HELP loan or pay tuition fees Upfront. The tuition fee cost of the unit will automatically appear in the FEE-HELP column.
Please note: If you are paying some or all of the unit tuition fee Upfront, enter the amount you will pay in the Upfront column. The FEE-HELP column will adjust automatically. The Upfront and FEE-HELP total amounts will appear below the list and update as you add or remove units.

 

Not eligible for FEE-HELP (e.g. non-Australian citizens)

If you are not eligible for FEE-HELP, the FEE-HELP column will not appear.

When you are ready to continue, click Next.

Registration Summary

Please check that all details are correct. If you need to make any corrections use the Back button. When all information is correct click ‘Submit’.

Registration Completed

An email will be sent to your Student Email Account showing the details listed on the Registration Summary screen.

If you want to change any details or your selection of units, simply log in again to the registration system and enter the correct information. Any later entry will overwrite earlier selections.
