Please ensure that you have a good backup strategy, as you are responsible for your data.

We recommend the 3-2-1 strategy.

What is the 3-2-1 backup strategy?

Put simply it is:

  • 3 copies of your data

  • On 2 different media

  • with 1 copy being off-site

An example of this can be: having your files on your home computer and backing up to a portable hard drive and also to the cloud. You have 3 copies of your data, on 2 different pieces of hardware (your computer that you use, and also the portable hard drive) and replicating the backup to the cloud (eg, storing a copy of the backup in a cloud drive service like Google Drive, iCloud or Dropbox)
