How to change your password

There may come a time when you need to change your MTC universal password. If you think your account has been compromised, or even if you just think your password is too simple, you should change your password.

This guide will give you step by step instructions to help you change your password.

Instructions

  1. Open your web browser, and type in my.moore.edu.au. This should take you to the My Moore website.

  2. The first page you should see is the login page. In the first box type your Moore ID, and in the second box type your existing universal password.


     

  3. This should take you to a welcome page, that says “Welcome Your Name.” At the top of that page, click the link that says “Edit Profile.” Then click the link that says “Change Password.”


     

  4. The next page should say “Change Password” at the top. In the first box, type your old universal password. In the following two boxes, type your new universal password. When you have finished, click “Save”.


It will take roughly one hour for your new password to synchronize. You might want to change your password just before you take lunch or an extended break.
